Terms of Use

Agreement
By creating an account or using mecomap, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform. We've kept these terms straightforward — please read them.
What mecomap Does
mecomap is an AI-powered platform for generating, viewing, and sharing market ecosystem maps. You can create visual maps of competitive landscapes, industry segments, and technology stacks using AI-assisted tools.
Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, let us know immediately. One person or organization per account — don't share accounts across teams unless on a plan that supports it.
Content You Create
Maps, categories, labels, and other content you generate through mecomap belong to you. You grant us a limited license to host, display, and process your content as needed to provide the service.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use mecomap lawfully and responsibly. You may not:
• Use the platform to generate misleading, defamatory, or illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the platform
• Automate access to the service beyond what our API permits
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Use mecomap to harass, spam, or harm others
AI-Generated Content
Maps and insights generated by mecomap use AI models and publicly available data. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You should independently verify any data before making business decisions based on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated outputs.
Content Moderation
We reserve the right to review, modify, or remove any content that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful, misleading, or inappropriate. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our guidelines.
Service Availability
We work to keep mecomap available and reliable, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance, deploy updates, or modify features. We'll provide reasonable notice for significant changes whenever possible.
Limitation of Liability
mecomap is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
